Errata for Course Notes

* On page 10, Chapter 1: In figure 1.4, labels (b) and (c) are missing
	below two of the architectures shown in the figure.

* On page 21, Chapter 2: Formula for path loss in decibel (dB) is incorrect.
			 It should be  
					10 log (Ps/Pr)

* In Chapter 4, note that the proof of stability of the
  throughput-optimal (TO) scheduler is only a sketch
  (not a complete/precise proof). 

* In Figure 5.7 (a) and (b) on page 111 in chapter 5,
  in the routing table at node D, in the entry for destination C,
  the cost (or distance) component of the tag should be 1 (not 3). 

* On page 93 in Chapter 5, the following incomplete sentence appears
  in the third paragraph on the page -- ignore (delete) this sentence.

* In Figure 5.4 on page 102 : The relay sets 
		{A,E} or {C,E}
  correspond to node D, not node B. 

* On page 94, see the paragraph that starts as "Detection of such ...".
  In the middle of this paragraph, there is a sentence that starts as
  "Receipt at host A of a hello ...".
  That sentence should be revised as follows:

  Receipt at host A of a hello message from host B can be viewed as
  signifying the presence of a link from host B to host A. This does not,
  however, necessarily mean that there is a usable (or adequately reliable)
  link from A to B.

* Page 122 -- text in two paragraphs is revised. The new text is
  included in the second part of notes distributed for Chapter 5 
  (dated 3/1/09). The modified paragraphs are labeled as CORRECTED in
  the text.

* Near the bottom of page 139 in Chapter 5 (regarding Mobile IP):
  replace the following text
	MH can now forward the packet to the current location of MH
  by the following:
	home agent can now forward the packet to the current location of MH
