	Answers to only a subset of the questions will be graded for
	correctness of the answer and the procedure. Credit will be
        granted for attempting the other questions.

Readings: Sections 3.6, 6.10

1.  Plot the timing diagrams of the static 0-hazards in Problem 6
    of Homework 4 (Figure P3.11(a)).

    Name the outputs of the gates as following:

    The gate with inputs D and B has output E.
    The gate with inputs B and A has output F.
    The gate with inputs A, C, and F (as defined above) has output G.  
    The gate with inputs C, F, and G (as defined above) has output H.
    
    Please plot the signals in the order of A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and f.

2.  For the circuit in Figure P3.10 (Page 97 on text book)
	(i) Find the P-sets and S-sets, and plot them on a Karnaugh map
	(ii) Determine all dynamic hazards, if any, using P-sets
	(iii) Determine all dynamic hazards, if any, using S-sets

3.  Plot the timing diagram(s) of the dynamic hazard(s) you found in Problem 2.  
    Name the outputs of the gates as following:
    
    The gate with inputs A and B has output C.
    The gate with inputs A and C (as defined above) has output D.
    The gate with inputs B and C (as defined above) has output E.
    
    Please plot the signals in the order of A, B, C, D, E, and f.  
        
4.  Problem 3.9 (a), (b), and (c)
    (for part (c), only find the dynamic hazards, if any)

5.  Use Tabular derivation to find a hazard-free minimal sum for the function
    in Problem 6 of Homework 4 (Figure P3.11(a)).
