Project DescriptionThe course project counts for 40% of your grade in this course. The project will consist of two parts with equal weight: a design and implementation portion and an evaulation portion. Theorists may write novel proofs in lieu of implementation. Projects are conducted in groups. If any student in a group takes the class for four credits, that group has a maximum size of two; if all students in the group take the class for three credits, that group has a maximum size of three. Project evaluations will take into account the number of students in the group and whether or not any student in the course is taking the course for four credit hours. Some project concepts will be provided in class. You are encouraged to propose your own project concepts; however, they must be of similar (or greater) difficulty than the concepts provided in class.Project Timeline
